About Alex
I'm Alex - born in Italy, currently living in Australia.
I'm passionate about teaching: my goal is to explain complex topics in a simple way, creating examples and metaphors, and using the right information flow. (e.g., a sorting algorithm could be explained using a shelf with books on it, to understand the patterns which we translate using a piece of code)
I've helped 100+ students and teachers with their exam preparation, professional growth, or simply learning something new.

#Method
My method is based on you.
Nothing is really tough — it just needs to be approached from the right angle.
Often, the issue is that students aren't aware of which study method works best for them, so I adapt my lessons to your preferred cognitive style (learning modality).
What's yours — visual, auditory, or kinesthetic?
We'll figure it out together through a simple exercise.
Generally, I prefer to use visual materials in my lessons.
#Typical length
My lessons usually last 1.5 to 2 hours. That said, the length depends on the subject, the topic, and your approach.
#My qualifications and experience
I hold a BSc in Computer Science.
I've been tutoring students of all ages since 2023.
I've also taught AI, coding, and cyber security to teachers in Italian public schools and to Italian healthcare professionals.
My main job is working as a freelance software developer in Australia.

I usually work with university students, high schools students and professionals. That said, all levels and ages welcome.
