About Kathryn
I like teaching the cello, especially new beginners since it’s fun to go back down to the beginning and happily introduce the instrument I grew to love over the years to someone who decided to learn the cello out of curiosity or some other reasons. I’m always happy seeing children playing music as well, it just feels so jolly !

I’ve worked with many young beginners, youngest being 5, as well as adolescents, was assistant teacher for a junior group ensemble age range 7-12. My style of teaching is based on each individual’s pace. First lessons are where I try to get to know my students, their likes and dislikes, etc.
