My job as a tutor is to show you that the challenges you face as a student aren't as big or scary as they may seem. I work with students to show how topics can be easy both in terms of general understanding and in application to exam questions. I encourage students to find aspects of their life which they are enthusiastic about, and work to build this enthusiasm towards other aspects of their studies.
I am a biomedicine / bioengineering student at the University of Melbourne. Originally from New Zealand, (only a weak accent, sorry!) and having studied the International Baccalaureate, I can break down complicated topics in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology into simpler, straightforward ideas. Whilst my interests lie in the sciences, I am an English student by natural talent, and it is these skills which help me to sympathise with struggling students and translate confusing concepts into intriguing and fascinating ideas.
