About Mary
I have been qualified in teaching yoga for over 2 years and have received both my 200 hour and 150 hour YTT with FLY Int (Frog Lotus International). A highly advanced teacher training program that covers all of the aspects of yoga.
I have worked in the holistic environment for over 3 years, and am looking to deepen my own practise and teaching in Brisbane and make it my home.

My teaching method is a combination of many different styles. Trained in Vinyassa flow, but combining it with Forrest and Iyengar as well as adding my own personal touch.
I base my classes around the energy I feel in the room. I will plan classes if my students wish to focus on an area of the body or particular poses they wish to work on.
For example if my students are feeling tight around their shoulders and upper body, I would focus my class around heart-opening poses and the philosophy that follows with this area of the body.
But sometimes people don't want a spiritual touch, so I will just teach a very kick-butt class ;)
