About Amelia
Of an Australian and British nationality, I have grown up around the world and have been learning, writing, and speaking french for ten years now. I currently study french language and literature at the University of St Andrews where I am in my penultimate year. In this degree, I have particularly enjoyed studying french history and have presented multiple seminars on various historical subjects in France, from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. I have also enjoyed taking french literature and studying the works of Gustave Flaubert, Moliere, and more.

During high school in Norway, I worked as a one-on-one French IB tutor with a student, and ultimately helped her to raise her grade from a 5/7 to a 6/7 over the course of two months. My teaching style is to establish confidence in children and to tailor each class to their individual ways of learning, whether that is visual, oral, interactive, physical, and so on.
