My teaching methods really focus on providing the knowledge and understanding that is required for the student to know about music components of theory and practice. Whether you are a beginner or had somewhat previous experience in music, I am able to adapt to the support need to tutor the student, whether its feedback on their solo performance, checking their music theory or supporting them with SACE assessment. As I am currently studying in music education I am learning lots of new things about the music curriculum in both classroom and private lesson area's, in saying that I would be a huge benefit to you with accessing students to music resources.
I am a University student attending the University of Adelaide, which I'm Currently Studying a double bachelors degree in Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Music (Music Education and Pedagogy- specializing in Sonic Arts). I am starting to offering tutoring and support music lesson for interested high school musicians struggling with high school music work or just interesting in picking up music. I have had somewhat experience helping students with music theory, SACE assignments and practical performance (solo and ensemble). My main instrument is piano, which I have played for 15 years. I completed up to grade 5th level for AMEB piano for leisure exams (currently doing 6th grade) and 5th grade of music theory. If interested in wanting to do some piano/keyboard lesson I am able to offer the opportunity to learn.
I am willing to negotiate prices of wanting to do tutoring for lesser time (e.g for 30-45 min lessons). Payment goes for each lesson, so if there's a cancellation for the scheduled time you are able to reschedule for a suitable time, so no cancellation fee. For the first tutoring lesson, I will be offering it for free whether you interested in music lesson or in need of support. Also, I'm willing to do these tutor lesson in a study environment as well (e.g University of Adelaide Hub Central, State Library, etc.)
