About Prarthana
I am a law graduate interested in pursuing a PhD in the future so I am looking to build my teaching experience. Furthermore, I highly value education and hence, find teaching to be a rewarding profession. Also, I enjoy the challenge of understanding the needs and capacities of each student and developing a methodology accordingly.
I am trained under the TeachFirst tutoring programme and tutored a Triple Sciences GSCE student in 2016. I also have experience teaching students from different age groups from when I volunteered for three months in Malawi in 2016.

I am sensitive to the needs of each student and would always work to tailor my approach according to one's needs and abilities. I rely primarily on traditional classroom-based approaches and will supplement that with appropriate audio-visual tools, where applicable. While teaching, I engage students every step, specifically by encouraging recollection and querying their understanding through questions.
