About Vahin
Vahin is currently studying at the University of Cape Town. He is completing another major in Applied Statistics after completing his Biochemistry and Genetics Modules. His studies have helped in developing his analytical skills and gaining an in-depth understanding of genetic principles, statistical methodologies using statistical software like R, Python, and Matlab, and their practical applications. Vahin received awards for Full Academic Colors for his IGCSE (O-level).
Furthermore, he completed his A levels in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology in which he received the top mark for Mathematics in his school. He received an academic scholarship from his school, which he retained throughout his high school journey due to his consistent academic grades. At University, he has taken courses in Advanced level Calculus and proof methods, Biochemistry, and Advanced level Chemistry. He has participated in a variety of different Mathematics competitions; he was able to get up to national level when he competed in the South African Mathematics Olympiad. His teaching philosophy revolves around fostering an engaging and collaborative learning environment.
