About Phoebe
I am a student at UF pursuing a major in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences with a minor in Environmental Sciences and Educational Studies. I have been tutoring middle and high school students online for two years and would like to pursue this passion further, as well as help people in any way I can.

My teaching method is based in positive interactions and encouragement. I try to generally let the student take the lead and tell me what they need, rather than assuming. I believe that when listening to and encouraging a student, we can collaborate together to create the best possible outcome. I am also a student myself, so it will hopefully be helpful for them to have that peer motivation and support.
