About Helen

I hold a BA in German and Hispanic Studies (First Class) and have recently completed an MA in Translation Studies. I also spent a year abroad, teaching English to primary school children in Berlin and working for a university in Madrid.
Having been through the education system myself and become fluent in both languages, I am looking to tutor GCSE or A-Level students in German and Spanish.

About the lesson

I will base my lessons off your school or college's own curriculum to help your prepare for exams. A good grasp of vocabulary and grammar are also essential to achieve top grades, and so these are also the focus of my teaching.

Helen's response
Annabel's strength lies in comprehension, whereas she would benefit from some extra support with spontaneous speaking. I recommend she also work on verb conjugations and tenses, in particular the preterite, imperfect and future tenses, which is definitely something we can look at together.
