About Sophie
I am Sophie, 36 years old, living near the beach in South East England. I have always had strong English skills and have been writing for years. I have had several articles published in online magazines and have significant proofreading experience though these are mainly a hobby as opposed to work. My main occupation is working for local government on strategic projects.
I have experience of teaching English abroad, most notably in Indonesia where I taught orphans for six weeks. It is more recently that I completed my accredited TEFL course and this has prompted me to tutor online. I am very keen to help others learn English and will do everything I can to ensure that you take what you need from the sessions :)

My lessons are bespoke to your individual needs and the areas you're looking to build confidence in. At the beginning of the session we will agree your learning aims.
As an accredited TEFL tutor I can teach learners of any age and cover the key areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Sessions are an hour long and will include the teaching of vocabulary (with focus on pronunciation), relevant grammar and conversational chat to boost your speaking confidence.
Lessons are usually an hour long and are concluded with a reflection upon your original aims.
