About Mariam
Hi, I’m Mariam! I’m a university graduate with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing, and I’m offering Math tutoring for primary school students in Years 1–6. I enjoy helping students understand concepts that may initially seem difficult by breaking them down into simple, easy-to-follow steps.
I’m patient, friendly and encouraging, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions without feeling embarrassed or pressured. My goal is not only to help with homework and schoolwork, but also to build each student’s confidence and understanding of Math. Lessons can be adapted to each child’s individual learning needs and pace, whether they need extra support, revision or simply want to strengthen their Math skills.

I offer friendly and supportive tutoring for students in Years 1–6, with lessons tailored to each child’s individual needs and learning pace. I can assist with English, reading, writing, maths, homework and general schoolwork. My approach is patient and encouraging, focusing on explaining concepts in a simple way and helping students build confidence. Lessons are typically 1 hour and can include homework support, revision, practice activities and preparation for upcoming school tasks. As a university graduate, I understand the importance of making learning clear, organised and enjoyable for students.
