About Alicia
I am a recent graduate from the University of Melbourne where I studied a Bachelor of Music. My focus instrument is the tuba however I have also played the piano for many years. I have an excellent knowledge of music theory. I am new to teaching and would be suited to teaching beginners or intermediate players. In 2021 I will be commencing a Masters of Teaching course at university.

My lessons will be geared towards beginners or intermediate players. I can get new students started, helping them to grasp the basics of music. I can also help students to come up with techniques and plans to overcome difficulties in their playing. My teaching philosophy is that anyone of any age can learn how to play music. Music should be enjoyed by all, and as such I aim to make my lessons engaging and enjoyable. With practice, anyone can become a talented musician!
