About Isaac
I am a chemical engineering student currently completing my Masters degree. I have been tutoring two year 10 students in Math for one year. As a chemical engineering student I have a background in Math, Physics and Chemistry and would be comfortable tutoring any of these subjects. My students have improved there skills, getting better results through gaining a greater understanding of the subject. Looking to tutor students year 8 and above. Having completed an International Baccalaureate diploma at school I would be perfect for students in completing IB.

My typical style for math tutoring is to look at what has been covered in the previous week in class and have my students complete assigned problems. This allows me to understand gaps in knowledge and also identify where they are making mistakes. I then help by showing the steps to working a problem and giving advice on how to not make mistakes.
As Chemistry and Physics are more conceptual in tutoring these subjects I would focus more on understanding on the concepts in addition to solving problems.
