About Caroline
I am an honours student studying French language and literature with a strong background in tutoring English language and literature to both native and non-native speakers. I have completed my undergraduate degree, double majoring in French and Political Science. I have been giving private lessons in French for two years and look forward to teaching others.

My teaching method is centred around two principles: immersion and dialogue. Working with languages it is imperative to be comfortable with all aspects of communication (reading, writing, speaking and listening). My language lessons reflect this need, however, I have a relaxed lesson style to encourage active participation in a comfortable environment - the most effective way of ensuring knowledge retention. My literature and humanities lessons are based on dialogue. A free exchange of ideas provoked by conversation and debate is just as important for developing excellent essays or analyses as practice papers and exams, though these may feature as well!
