About Dennis
Hi! I'm Dennis (Vance) and I graduated with an ATAR of 99.40 (Honour Roll). I am currently studying at The University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Science).
For pre-VCE students
As an Actuarial Major I have a deep-seated passion for Mathematics that I always aim to pass onto to younger students. I structure my course in such a way that cherry-picks the most important aspects of pre-VCE learning in order to fast track your child into VCE.

For VCE Students:
I specialise in providing assistance to students who struggle in grasping the complexities of VCE Mathematics. A typical profile of my past students at the start of the year are those who struggle with some basics (Fractions, negative numbers, etc.) and find the VCE Mathematics course content heavy and intimidating. This is my Educational niche.
Many of my past students have an 'I hate maths' or 'I am just bad at maths' mentality. It is my firm belief that this mentality can become a self-fulfilling prophecy. I structure my teaching to eliminate this line of thinking, by breaking down the intimidating and often convoluted explanations that are found in VCE Maths. I instill a 'can-do' mentality that boosts mathematical confidence and ultimately converts a Study Score of 25 into 35.
I truly believe that as long as you are willing to work hard, anyone can achieve a score of 35+. I have seen it countless times.
