About Eva
I'm Eva and I love helping others understand topics they may initially find difficult. I understand maths can feel daunting at first, and I believe that with the right explanation and a little confidence, it can become much more manageable.
I achieved an A* in A-level Mathematics and am currently studying Mathematics at the University of Nottingham.
I am friendly, patient and approachable, and I will always encourage students to ask questions and take their time when working through problems. I want my lessons to feel relaxed and supportive, while still helping students make real progress.

Eva and I have known each other all her life. I am a maths teacher and secondary headteacher, and Eva and I have shared a love of maths since she was tiny!
Eva is really calm, patient, and understanding throughout her work and can easily describe methods and mathematical processes to all.
I have worked with Eva on GCSE and A-level maths and can verify her knowledge and expertise in explanation are exemplary.Eva is a very talented Mathematician who has the patience to explain things clearly, as many times as is needed!
She is capable of pushing students to higher grades as well as making sure all the basics are covered. As a qualified teacher myself, I have witnessed firsthand Eva's positive, clear and motivational approach with students. She is methodical and clear in her explanations and really unpicks misconceptions to make sure students gain a stronger grasp of the areas being studied. I highly recommend Eva as a tutor to support anyone who needs a boost in confidence or who has gaps that need filling.
