About Anthony
I am a university student on the masters course for Physics, graduating first year with a First. Previously studied Physics, Maths, and Further Maths A-levels achieving A*AA. Also passing the Physics Aptitude Test (PAT) for Oxford. Finished secondary school with 10 A/A*s. All while tutoring GCSE level students, offering guidance in a variety of mathematical subjects, but specialising in Maths and Physics.

I like to introduce topics with how they are related and how they interact with previous knowledge. Providing plenty of context and examples, to what each problem represents and how I would go about solving the problem personally. Step by step guidance to problems with worked examples, all while putting emphasis on the purpose behind each step in the process. The steady build up of difficulty and complexity to a wide range of problems which leads to fast and proper learning. I believe learning in a patient and supportive environment is the best way to actually retain knowledge and enjoy learning!

Anthony tutored my 14-year-old son, not only did the lessons improve his grades, but it improved his confidence in mathematics too.
Anthony is a great tutor with a fantastic aptitude for mathematics. He can identify problem areas and form an achievable plan for the students to work on not only whilst receiving a lesson but in between times too.I have known Anthony for a while now. When I was doing my GCSEs he tutored me through them as I was struggling but I ended up with an A grade. He’s really friendly and is very knowledgeable. I recommend him 100%!
Because of Anthony, I passed A level physics with an A and a much better understanding of the subject. He is very good at explaining and ensuring I had an understanding of everything and was genuinely very helpful. Without his help, I doubt I would’ve received grades as good as I did and I’m very grateful for all he taught me!
