About Cathleen
Kia ora! I'm a data analyst and mathematics graduate from the States. I recently became a resident in Aotearoa. I have tutored and TA'd throughout college, and have privately tutored students from middle school up through university level for the past 10 years. I also have helped train people for actuarial exams.
When I'm not at work, I really enjoy knitting, sewing, making cocktails, and playing video games.

I have a double-major in both mathematics and French literature, so I am good at bridging the gap that can sometimes be left between math teachers and their more artistic/ creative students. I have a patient approach, and I explain topics with easily digestible real-world examples to help difficult concepts stick and make sense. I've helped a lot of students from various non-science fields pass their university and highschool math requirements, and no matter your background, I know we can get you acing those tests and quizzes in no time :)
