About Hamish
I gave Math lessons throughout my studies at university and loved it. I had some time off to pursue other pathways but have realised recently how much i enjoyed tutoring. I would love the opportunity to rediscover something i enjoy aswell as to help students out.

I Like to explain concepts from what I imagine to be a students knowledge base so they can gain an understanding of the concept, rather than rote learning formulas. I feel if a student can build an understanding rather than be taught steps, it'll help them retain the knowledge more adequately aswell as prepare them for future learnings.
