About David
I am a practicing artist and former scientific/medical illustrator. I have a degree in visual arts with a major in natural history illustration and an advanced diploma in fine art with a major in oil painting. I have exhibited extensively in Australia, completed an artist in residence in Berlin, Germany and have had exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York and Berlin. I am a great communicator and want to pass on my extensive knowledge of art making.

My teaching style is very flexible and tailored to the individual. I will get my students seeing the world with an artistic eye and thinking like an artist. I teach my students not only the practical knowledge to physically make art but the exploration of concepts to make that art interesting and original.
