About Jon
I'm an undergraduate doing Bachelor of Advanced Science at the University of Queensland, majoring in Chemistry, minoring in Computational Sciences and Bioinformatics. Currently in my 4th year, doing an Honours project on computational modelling of drugs. Born in Malaysia, have been staying in Australia for three years, could speak Mandarin and Malay apart from English, and understand Cantonese fairly well.
I have been tutoring since my 2 years ago on various courses that I have done in university and all of them passed their exams with satisfactory results. I've also been hired to tutor a class of second year chemistry course at Cromwell College near UQ. The total number of students that I've tutor would be about 20.
I tend to think a lot extra about the content of the courses thought so could be able to solve some of the students' questions in mind that most lecturers do not bother to pay attention to.

I like to address students' problems of understanding certain concepts.
Tend to use all sorts of drawings and analogies to explain them, which work well most of the time!
I will start going through the content in the textbook or workbook of the students' choice that the once the students have no questions for me. Occasionally, I will come up with random questions to keep them thinking and allowing them to participate in the revision.
