About Miya
Hello! i'm Miya, 19, a native french speaker who moved to England about 7 years ago.
While i'm about to enter my second year of University in London, I am still fresh out of a-levels. This means I understand what examiners are looking for and therefore I would be able to fill the gaps in knowledge and target areas in which my students are struggling while keeping in mind what they need for exams. I am also comfortable teaching younger students such as GCSE level and primary school students.
I have done some quite some tutoring during my high-school / A-level years as i tutored my own peers and helped out as assistant in french classes however I am still relatively new to tutoring.
While I have not tutored older and more experienced students, I would be pleased to have higher levels students who are looking to have casual conversation with a native speaker to practice.

In terms of teaching, I'd really like to focus on what each individual would like to work on. While it could be speaking, help with planning an essay and so on I think it's important to discuss each individual struggles and work on them.
I believe that the most important factor to success is practice and that's something I implement in my teaching methods.
