About Alisha
My name is Alisha, I’m a university student who has completed 10 GCSEs and 3 A levels, so I truly understand what it feels like to sit where you are now such as the pressure, the stress, and the expectations. Having been through the same exams recently, I know the challenges students face and how overwhelming they can feel. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand difficult topics, which is why I teach: to support students with empathy, clear guidance, and reassurance. Outside of academics, I’ve played netball since the age of seven, which has taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience, values that I bring into my tutoring to help students achieve their goals with confidence.

My maths and chemistry tutoring is built on approachability, trust, and genuine care for each student as an individual. I will create a relaxed, supportive environment where questions are always welcome, while remaining highly focused on academic progress and long-term goals. I take students’ ambitions seriously, tailoring every lesson to their needs, exam requirements, and final aims, so they feel supported, motivated, and confident that their education is in capable hands.
