About Ilyas
I can relate to the thought that maths can be a seemingly daunting and useless subject, however being in university I feel as if it was a necessary part in becoming who I am now. I aim to give students the right tools to understand the subject in their own way so that they can problem solve and enjoy doing so.

My goal in teaching is to be able to help students develop a positive attitude towards problem solving. My plan of teaching will be to go over the concepts of the subject before testing the student with progressively difficult questions to apply the knowledge. The lengths of my lessons can range from 30 minutes to 1 hr. These lessons are aimed at GCSE maths students.
