About Tahiyya
Hello! My name is Tahiyya, and I graduated from high school in the International Baccalaureate Program. I am currently studying Public Health with a concentration in Psychology. I am very good at communicating with others when working in a group and possess strong leadership skills. I have started tutoring earlier in the year, so I have a bit of experience with different grade levels. I am certain that the skills I have earned so far will transfer easily to my enthusiasm in teaching.

I have always been interested in helping kids learn and understand material that they do not feel confident in. Although many students are sure of what they need help with, they also have a difficult time describing what the specific concept is. I believe I have the ability to provide adequate time for a student so that they can become comfortable with their struggles and learn from it. I feel that I can give a student careful attention with ideas outside of the box in order to reach the confidence level they need. My goal as a tutor is that no matter where the student is, I want to be able to address their concerns and help them get to where they need to be.
