About Carlota
I am a student majoring in business, political science and sociology. I have fluency in English and Spanish and have been tutoring both to children from 7 to 17 year olds for the past 5 years. My tutoring has focused on beginner knowledge for those who did not know the language but also focused on mastering the language for those who wanted to reach proficiency or better their level.

My lesson structure is based what the student needs each time. After each lesson, I take short notes on what was done in the class, what the student did not really grasp and something that has been mastered. This way, for the next lesson, I can start by reviewing what the student struggled with before continuing with new content. This is the main aspect of my teaching method as I always try to make sure that every concept is understood before moving on. In my experience, this allows students to not feel overwhelmed and, as they grasp concepts slowly, feel like they are making much more progress, therefore motivating them to continue.
