About Susan

I'm currently a University student, who is self employed, and who is seeking to assist those who want to improve their English skill set either for professional or personal reasons. English is one of my passions as I know it to be one of the foundations for language, communication and interpretation and its especially important in today's society with the rise of globalism, social media and multiculturalism.

About the lesson

My tutoring experience consists mainly of the times when I was a rural Governess to two children with learning difficulties as well as having worked in Special Education or as a private tutor over many years. I have taught and assisted my students with many subjects however I saw a clear need to help them progress on their English journey, especially in the areas of reading and writing.

I like to first get to know my student's expectations and goals and where they are at currently and start from the basics where necessary. Also being practical, creative and using real-life principles are significant aspects of tutoring that I believe in.

My lessons are for anyone who wants some additional help with their studies or who are interested in pursuing this subject out of interest.

Lesson times may vary on the student's wishes or needs however they will usually be around the 30-40 minute length.
