About Karlien
I am a university student who has a huge passion for art and all things creative. I spend my free time focusing on conveying stories or emotions, particularly through portraits and other realism work. My foundation of knowledge was achieved through 6 years of visual art at high school ending with an A+ grade for practical work and receiving a certificate of merit.

My teaching style is one of positive reinforcement and is heavily based on learning through practices s experimentation, including a focus on trying different techniques and styles to identify and find your own style. Once this is achieved, we can progress to technique refinement and artwork ideation in order to reach your full potential and achieve your goals.
