About Ryan
I am a dedicated university student with a strong academic background in math and science. I am organized, reliable, and committed to helping students build both their understanding and confidence.

My approach to tutoring is pretty simple, I focus on making sure students actually understand what they’re doing, not just memorising steps to get through homework. I break concepts down into smaller parts, explain them in different ways if needed, and use plenty of examples. Once they’re comfortable, I get them to try questions on their own so they can build confidence and independence.
A typical lesson goes for about 60 minutes. We usually start by going over any schoolwork or questions they’re stuck on, then move into a focus topic. If they’re in senior years, I like to include exam-style questions so they get used to applying their knowledge under time pressure.
I’m currently a university student and have strong results in maths and science. I’ve also had leadership roles at school, which helped me develop patience and communication skills. I understand what it’s like to be a student juggling different subjects, so I try to keep lessons supportive and encouraging rather than stressful.
My lessons are for year levels (3-12), whether they need help catching up, staying on track, or pushing for higher marks.
