About Edward
Despite obtaining great grades in my final exams, I spent much of my first year at sixth form struggling to understand the content and finding it difficult to adapt to a more hands-off approach from my teachers. I had to work hard to bring myself up to speed and I apply the lessons I learnt from that process to assist others who, like me, may not 'get' the material at first glance. My personal experiences have made me the tutor I am today - I know what it's like to fall out of luck with a subject that seems incomprehensible. I hope not just to improve students' grades, but to improve their experience at school or college too.

I offer one hour sessions covering content from the syllabus that the student may be struggling with, comprising of theory work followed by practice from past exam papers in order to strengthen the student's understanding of the topic and help me assess their progress. These lessons are designed to complement in-school learning and provide one-on-one support for students who may not receive such assistance in class.
