About Sophie
I have always been passionate about Science and was inspired to continue my studies in this area by my GCSE Science teacher. I would love to do this for another student and share my interest. It wasn't too long ago that I was doing GCSEs myself, so I understand the anxiety many students face. Together, we can boost your confidence and make sure you get the results you deserve!

I use evidence based learning techniques to get the most out of our time together. In a 60-minute private lesson, you can expect to have complex topics broken down into a manageable size, knowledge checks, quizzes, and finally practice questions from past papers to ensure you can ace your exams! I can teach students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4. Biology is my main area of interest however I am highly capable of teaching both Biology and Chemistry.
I achieved a 9 and two 8s in separate sciences at GCSE level. I also achieved A*AAB in Psychology, Biology, EPQ and Chemistry A-levels. I am on track to receive a First in my Biochemistry degree.
I am keen to work with students and tailor lessons to their individual needs, working on their key areas for development.

You are welcome to book a free 30 minute lesson with me to see if I am the right tutor for you. After this, my rate is £15 per hour. You will require internet connection for online lessons, and to view exam papers or documents I may send. You will also need basic stationary (pens, paper, ruler, calculator etc).
