About Cooper
I’m a professional guitarist with studio experience, currently studying Electrical Engineering (Honours) at the University of Sydney, and I live locally in Marrickville. I’ve always loved both music and problem-solving, and I really enjoy helping others build confidence in areas they might initially find challenging.
I understand the pressure and stress students can feel, especially around Advanced Math and Music assessments. I aim to be relaxed, patient, and encouraging in my teaching, and I genuinely care about helping students feel capable, motivated, and supported, whether that’s preparing for exams, performances, or just enjoying learning more.

I offer personalised, supportive lessons in guitar, HSC Music, and HSC Advanced Mathematics, tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. As a professional touring guitarist and a University of Sydney Electrical Engineering Honours student, I bring both real-world creative experience and strong academic rigour to my teaching.
My lessons focus on building genuine understanding, confidence, and long-term skills whether that’s improving technique and musicianship, preparing HSC performance or composition work, or mastering challenging mathematical concepts. I aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and steadily achieving results.

My teenager has started Maths tutoring with Cooper. He was responsive in setting up sessions and easy to deal with. My daughter found his style calm and helpful, and Cooper was able to clearly explain how to approach some problems that she had struggled with. So now she understands how to solve them herself.
Cooper tutored me in Extension I Maths last year for my HSC. He’s such an amazing tutor; I highly recommend him! Very patient and helped me understand questions I couldn’t get by breaking them down and explaining them in new ways. Definitely improved my maths marks; I’m so grateful.
