About Pascale

My name is Pascale and I am an undergraduate student at University of Toronto. My first language was French growing up and I did not learn English till I was 3. I love cooking and baking and work at a cooking camp in between academic years. I started tutoring over my first year of university and absolutely fell in love with teaching and all the amazing students I’ve had! My personal goal is to help as many people reach their learning goals and grow confidence.

About the lesson

Growing up with learning disabilities and having taken many language courses I came to understand the struggles that come with learning a new language, especially one like French. As I’ve taken French all through school as well as it being my first language, I am able to help build personalized plans to maximize each student's learning. I start off by working out personal goals, learning styles and experience. This allows me to build a plan where students can feel accomplished and confident with their progress.

I've known Pascale for a few years now through the tutoring community. Pascale's tutoring style is exceptional; she combines enthusiasm, patience, and creativity to make learning easy. One particular experience that stands out is when we collaborated on tutoring a group of students preparing for standardized tests. Despite the challenges, Pascale's dedication and innovative teaching methods ensured that each student made significant progress. I confidently recommend Pascale to other Superprof members; her commitment to student success and ability to create engaging learning experiences make her an outstanding tutor in any context.
