About Kierstin
Hi, I’m Kierstin! I’m a Math Teaching major at the University of Utah with a strong passion for helping students feel confident and capable in math. I understand that math can feel overwhelming or intimidating, and my goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.
Through my studies in math education, I have developed effective strategies for explaining concepts clearly and adjusting lessons to meet each student’s needs. I focus on building strong foundations, improving problem-solving skills, and helping students understand the “why” behind the math, not just the steps.
I am professional, patient, and well-organized, and I take pride in being reliable and prepared for every lesson. Whether a student needs extra support, wants to improve grades, or is looking to build confidence in math, I am committed to helping them succeed.
