About Kena
I've always enjoyed helping people with maths, whether it's explaining a topic in a different way or working through a difficult question together. Everyone learns differently, so I try to adapt each lesson to the student instead of teaching everyone the same way.
I want my lessons to feel relaxed and interactive, so you're always encouraged to ask questions, even if they seem small. My goal is to help you understand the maths, build your confidence, and hopefully make the SAT a little less stressful.
I'm always happy to go over topics as many times as needed, and I'll do my best to make sure you leave each lesson feeling more confident than when you started.

Preparing for the SAT can feel overwhelming, but I believe that with the right approach, anyone can improve their score. Having scored 750/800 in the SAT Maths section myself, I know the types of questions you'll come across and the techniques that make them much easier to solve.
I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in MORSE (Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics), so maths has been a huge part of my degree. My aim is not just to help you get the right answer, but to make sure you understand the concepts so you can confidently tackle similar questions on your own.
Every lesson is tailored to your goals. We'll work through official SAT-style questions, identify any areas you're finding difficult, and build strategies to improve both your accuracy and speed. Whether you're aiming for a top score or simply want to feel more confident with SAT Maths, I'll adapt the lessons to suit you.
My lessons are online, usually 60 minutes long, and I always encourage students to ask as many questions as they like. I want every lesson to feel relaxed, interactive, and productive, so you leave feeling more confident than when you joined.
