About Arren
Having recently completed AS levels and GCSEs, I know the feeling of stress relating to exams so I can relate to people going through it now and I know its really not easy as I have recently gone through those situations as well. Due to this, I believe I can provide a unique perspective to teaching maths as I know from personal experience what methods are effective in understanding maths.
Maths is considered a very difficult subject, however that doesn't mean it's impossible to be good at it. That is my main goal, to help people improve their maths skills and most importantly to enjoy maths.
Even though I find maths challenging I enjoy it due to the satisfaction that comes from facing the challenge that is maths. However, that wasn't always the case as I used to find maths boring and didn't understand it, but as I changed the way I looked at maths that enabled me to improve significantly, which is what I want to happen to my students.

Lesson time is usually between 0.5-1.5 hours depending on the preference of the student.
Having achieved grade 9 in GCSE maths and predicted A* for Maths and Further Maths I believe I can help teach students in an effective and enjoyable way.
I have previously tutored some GCSE students helping them to improve their maths confidence and teaching them maths concepts in a way that would be easy to comprehend. This not only improved my student's results but gave me a feeling of self-satisfaction seeing others expand their knowledge of maths.
