About Tawsif

I am a university student that has 1 year of tutoring experience. Under my tutelage, a student has made 3 grades of progress in only 2 months. Relating the academia to the student's passions is crucial to promote engagement in lessons, which from my experience, leads to more enjoyment and better grades.

About the lesson

Offering lessons to everyone undertaking a Mathematics GCSE at Higher or Foundation, I will ensure that you get the grade you desire. I teach by going through question examples on a topic, in increasing difficulty, where you will try questions after my demonstration. Being open-minded and friendly, I encourage questions as I believe this is the best way to learn. My ultimate goal is to help my tutee become an independent learner, by instilling self-confidence in their abilities and portraying the importance of strengthening one's understanding of methods used.

Perfect! Tawsif is great in his knowledge of mathematics. He has been mentoring my sons for quite a few sessions now, and I can see them gaining confidence in mathematics. Tawsif is able to challenge my sons on their strengths, and simplifies maths equations down to a level they can build themselves up from independently. Which is very impressive!!
Tawsif is delightful and encouraging using positive praise which helps to make challenging obstacles more achievable.
