About Emma
I am studying to be a Primary Teacher with aspirations to become a special education teacher in the future. I graduated high school last year in Advanced Maths, English, Physics, Business Studies and Biology and also completed year 11 with 3 unit Maths and Chemistry in addition to the above. I have two younger siblings who I have tutored growing up. I also play piano and have tutored neighbours and family friends in the past.

I believe in an individualistic approach to my teaching as I believe all students learn differently. I like to get to know the student and how they like to learn to ensure they get the most out of my lessons. Every student has the potential to do well and love learning and I believe my interpersonal skills and my creativity can help in developing an approach that is specific to the individual. As well as this, I use a conceptual approach to teaching and learning so as to avoid "teaching to the exam" and instead develop meaningful links between content and how it relates to and fits into real life situations.
