About Rylee

Jazz guitar, in particular, inspires me because of its creativity, freedom, and emotional depth. I am deeply committed to sharing this passion with my students, helping them discover the joy of making music while developing their own unique sound and musical identity. As a tutor, I am passionate about guiding students beyond simply playing notes. I love helping learners understand the language of jazz, from harmony and rhythm to improvisation and expression. Seeing students gain confidence, improve their musical ear, and express themselves freely through the guitar is what truly motivates me as a teacher. Every small breakthrough a student achieves feels like a shared success. My passion also drives me to continuously learn and grow as a musician and educator. I stay dedicated to refining my teaching methods, exploring new ideas, and adapting lessons to keep them inspiring and effective. I believe that when a tutor teaches with genuine passion, students feel encouraged, supported, and excited to learn. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy the journey of music and develop a lifelong love for jazz guitar.

About the lesson

I offer structured and engaging Jazz Guitar lessons designed to help students grow with confidence and clarity. My teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals while gradually advancing into jazz harmony, improvisation, and musical expression. Each lesson is planned according to the student’s level, goals, and musical interests, ensuring steady progress and motivation throughout the learning journey.

My lessons combine songs, theory, technique, ear training, and improvisation in a practical way. I believe students learn best when they can immediately apply concepts to real music, so I use popular jazz standards, backing tracks, and exercises to develop timing, tone, and creativity. Complex ideas are explained in a simple and clear manner, making jazz approachable and enjoyable for every learner.

I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their musical ideas. Whether you are a beginner starting your jazz journey or an intermediate player looking to refine your skills, I focus on consistency, musical understanding, and confidence.
