About Brett
My experience began in 2009 where I taught middle school math for three years. This gave me experience in Math 6, Math 7, Math 8, and Pre-Algebra. After teaching middle school math, I graduated up to high school math where I taught topics such as ADV Geometry, Geometry, Algebra 1, and Stats for five years. I currently serve as the Supervisor of Virtual Prince William where we offer online, asynchronous online courses to high school students. This helps me provide expertise and skills in online learning and tutoring.

I provide a coaching style of teaching that allows students to drive their own learning while providing support. A typical lesson with me would include accessing your prior knowledge, building your math skills and concepts, and mastering the objectives and problem solving skills to become successful. My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students with a focus on Geometry. What sets my tutoring apart from others is the ability to produce effective communication, adaptability, engage and motivate, and feedback and assess.
