I believe having a thorough understanding of the subject doesn't mean much if you can't convey that information to your students in a way that they can understand, luckily i have both the understanding and conveyance to help your child achieve!
As an engineering student i see how the topics taught in high school correlate to the advanced mathematics that will be taught in engineering. While I teach anywhere from 7-12 I do have a emphasis on calculus and algebra as these topics have the largest carry over into tertiary maths (if your child requires that).
