About Courtney
I am a university student who whilst in school was school captain, and ran many tutoring programs within the school. I was trusted by teachers to be a tutor not only outside the classroom but also within. I was always told that my teaching methods help those in my class who couldn't quite grasp the traditional methods straight away, or who coudln't understand their teachers.

My teaching method is to sit down with a student and firstly see how they learn. Whether that be visually, verbally, through colours or pictures, anything that helps them understand an idea. I understand concepts further than is required usually, as I believe understanding the fundamentals behind an idea, can help a student grasp the concept easier. I have a range of my own notes, as well as online videos, games and other sources to help with grasping concepts. I have a gentle and patient approach to teaching, as I know that teachers in class rooms dont always have the time or patience to work with students who struggle.
