About Jasmin
I completed the HSC last year (2017) with an ATAR of 96, achieving a band 6 in 2U maths, biology and studies of religion, an E3 in extension maths and a high band 5 in chemistry. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Pre-medicine, science and health at the University of Wollongong and am looking to tutor some high school students who may be struggling with their work and/or who simply wish to excel. I have no experience with paid tutoring work, however I volunteer once a week as part of the program AIME to tutor Indigenous students at a local high school.

The method depends on the ability of the student and how much they are struggling with the subject. If they are struggling significantly then it is important to take a more careful approach and take time teaching them each aspect of the content. Usually I will start with me doing some questions in front of them, then encouraging them to try it themselves whilst providing less and less guidance until they are able to complete the question on their own.
