Duration : 3 hours - Price : $45.00 - Place : Mount OmmaneyI study nursing at USQ and give English lessons to students of all levels. I have a Teaching English to speakers of Foreign Languages (TEFL) Certificate. Lessons are personalised for each student or group's needs and the first session will involve assessing the current level of the student or students in order to ascertain their level and the appropriate teaching methods to use. I am very passionate about learning and I believe it should be enjoyable and tailored to the student in order to make sure the material is absorbed fully. Everyone has a different learning method and no one student is 100% the same as another and therefore I believe that there is no one technique that suits all.

Course setup
I have been assisting other students with English as long as I can remember in an informal environment. I have never given any formal tutoring however, I feel that I am experienced enough to be able to do this. I have a passion for English especially grammar and spelling. I can safely say that while I have no formally tutored students in the past, peers that I have assisted managed to achieve higher grades post "lessons". I have seen fellow students sitting on a C for English attain levels as high as an A after acquiring my assistance for a while. I feel that this past informal experience will assist me to tutor my students in a way that engages the student and helps them to absorb all the information needing to be learnt.
