About Valerie
Languages have always been my first passion in life. As someone who has moved around a lot, I know firsthand how isolating it can be to arrive in a new country and not be able to express yourself and connect with others.
For me, teaching English is about creating a space where you feel safe to make mistakes, learn and grow. If I can help someone feel a little braver speaking up, a little more at home in a new place, or a little more confident building a life that they want, that feels deeply meaningful to me.
I also have a background in engineering and science, and can help with academic writing or technical terminology that you might need for work or studies. So let's connect and start this journey together!
