About Valerie

Languages have always been my first passion in life. As someone who has moved around a lot, I know firsthand how isolating it can be to arrive in a new country and not be able to express yourself and connect with others.

For me, teaching English is about creating a space where you feel safe to make mistakes, learn and grow. If I can help someone feel a little braver speaking up, a little more at home in a new place, or a little more confident building a life that they want, that feels deeply meaningful to me.

I also have a background in engineering and science, and can help with academic writing or technical terminology that you might need for work or studies. So let's connect and start this journey together!

My classes are dynamic, supportive, and designed to keep you motivated, with plenty of real-world examples and practical activities that make English not just a subject, but a skill you enjoy using.
