About Revlyn
Hi, I'm Revlyn, a Civil & Environmental Engineering student at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), passionate about making Math enjoyable for young learners.
I have hands-on experience teaching and mentoring children through several community volunteer organizations. As Head of the Education Division at one of my organizations, I regularly visited local orphanages to provide educational support, designing structured activities tailored to each child's needs. In another, I developed and delivered lesson plans in Math and English, monitored student progress, and provided personalized feedback to keep learners motivated and on track.
Math is central to my engineering degree, so I bring both a strong background in the subject and a genuine enthusiasm for it. I'm patient, dependable, and committed to helping each student build real understanding — not just get through the exam.
Whether your child is struggling with the basics or looking to get ahead, I'm here to help them grow in confidence and ability, one lesson at a time.

My classes will be for primary/junior high students who want to build confidence and deepen their understanding of basic math. I believe that an hour spent in a session is long enough to review material, complete a problem-solving session, and a series of homework exercises that the students can take away.
I tailor my teaching to each student. I begin by observing which topic the student is struggling with and change my teaching style to suit the learner.
As a major student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering course at UTS, math is one of my core subjects, and hence I have a sound foundation at every level. Beyond academics, I have practical teaching experience through my volunteering at community outreach programs. I designed lesson plans, tutored children of various ages, adapting to individual needs, and tracking their progress over time..
