About Iash
I am a first-year engineering student at UWA and a 2020 Graduate from Lesmurdie Senior High School. I tutor Year 7-10 and Year 11&12 Methods, Chemistry, Physics and Specialist.
I strive to make lessons fun and engaging while ensuring that students actually understand the content. I am patient and aim to explain things in a way that each individual student can understand. I have a plethora of resources, especially for Year 11&12 students who are keen on doing Methods, Chem, Physics and Specialist.
My schedule is flexible and I’m happy to accommodate. Lessons are typically done at my house.

I have noticed that many students struggle with grasping core concepts and in particular, obtaining full marks in Short Answer & Extended Answer questions in exams and/or assessments. Most students, if not all students that I've tutored often lose 1 or 2 precious marks when it comes to tackling short answer or extended answer questions, and have informed me that techniques in which I've taught them over the years have greatly assisted in improving the scores in which they've obtained.
Hence, the focus of all of my tutoring sessions include:
- Holistic & in-depth theoretical understanding of course concepts & theories
- The brushing up of any core concepts required for any assessments
- Explanation of the best way to tackle all exam-like questions, and how to obtain full marks for each question
- Past exam papers and/or questions compiled from other high school's assessments
- Lots of WACE like practice questions under timed conditions
- Work out WACE strategies that will work for each individual student
- The provision of more conceptually challenging questions to ensure complete understandings of core concepts
