About Dr Hoda
I am a doctor in Economics (UWA). I have been teaching Economics to students at universities for more than 5 years. In addition, i have taught high school students as well. My way of teaching makes understanding very easy and allow students to benefit from this course in their life.

It is my philosophy to help create critical thinkers in any class I have the privilege of teaching. Make the Students think is what I strive for as a teacher/lecturer. Although memorization can work well in some circumstances, I still prefer understanding and always do my best to make my students achieve this goal. One way to do this is by giving the facts only and getting the students to think how it can be applied in other situations, how can we benefit from it and so on. I like to let students understand from direct and indirect questions.
Interactive lectures and discussions are my strengths; no difference if the class is big or small. I like to hear that the class is thinking with me and that although we can easily find the “right” in the books/studying materials, we can reach it through our discussions. I am interested in listening to what the students say in these discussions and use these comments or tips in explaining the current and future lectures.
The utilization of case studies which perfectly match with the topic being discussed is empowering. While these kinds of delivering knowledge to students consume more time, I still prefer them as they are perfect in training students to think by themselves and for themselves in the future.
