About Haseeb-Ur-Rehman

Hi everyone! My name is Haseeb and I am a Master's student at University of Waterloo. I've been taught by some fantastic tutors during my undergrad and high school years, and I know how helpful a good tutor can be. I've taken what I learned from them to make my tutoring as helpful as possible. I have tutored multiple students in the past, and I'm experienced with many programming languages, including Python, Java, and C++. My goal is to make learning these languages fun and easy to understand, no matter your experience level.

About the lesson

I like to keep my approach structured yet adaptable, trying to meet the needs of each student. I like to mix explanations with real-life examples so it’s easier to understand and remember the topics. In our typical lesson, we'll start by going over what we learned last time. Then, we'll introduce a new topic, discuss it in depth, and do some practical exercises together. I always encourage asking questions and we’ll solve problems together to make sure you really get it. We usually wrap up by revisiting what we covered to make sure everything is clear. What makes me different as a tutor is my approach to tailor the lessons to fit your needs. I’m patient and make sure to adjust my teaching style to your learning speed and style. I also give feedback throughout our sessions and offer extra resources to help you learn more. My lessons are great for anyone studying computer science or similar subjects, no matter if you're in high school, college, or even graduate school. If you find some parts of your course challenging, or if you just want to learn more, I’m here to help you succeed.

Haseeb is an excellent programmer and even more talented teacher. I had the pleasure of working with him for 3 months at an institute that trains high school and undergraduate students in the domain of Computer Science. All students found Haseeb extremely knowledgable and helpful, even I sometimes dropped by to enjoy his lessons. Many of his students ended up getting good jobs and are thankful to Haseeb for his guidance and help during their course. Haseeb is someone who can get results. He will work tirelessly to help his students often doing classes with extended durations until the student is satisfied and understands the concepts well enough.

Overall, Haseeb is a well rounded teacher an experienced computer scientist and overall a very jolly person to be around. Try him out you will not be disappointed!
